A Great Start To August

On Wednesday, the first of August, I headed outside with my brand new Nikon J1. I was incredibly excited to be using such an awesome camera and felt incredibly grateful to James for buying it for me for my birthday.

Outside was the first prompt for the Photo A Day August that Fat Mum Slim created. So as I was waiting for Brittonie to come out of the Queen Victoria Building I snapped a couple of photographs of the skyline.

Brittonie and I had organised to go to high tea together a little while ago and Wednesday worked out perfectly for the both of us. We then headed inside the QVB and I mentioned I needed to go to a Pandora store to buy a new stackable ring. They were extremely busy so we decided to go and find the Tea Room.

We got there and waited to be seated. It was amazing. I loved talking to Brittonie, it felt like I had known her for years [in person, not just online] and the food was simply delicious!

Once we finished eating, we then decided to walk around. I bought a card for James and wrote some extremely sweet things inside it last night. I think he liked it. I also bought the ring, this ring; pretty huh? Thanks mum!
